Third, ask them to clean the toys after they finish playing. Ask them to put the shoes back to the rack after they just come back from school. Ask them to clean the bed after they wake up in the morning. And ask them to clean their room according to their ability. The smaller the children the fewer order should be given.

Forth, pets are one from many means to teach the children responsibility. Ask your children what kind of pets they want to keep. Afterwards buy them the pets but they should promise take care the pets by them selves, such as to feed them, clean the cage and ask them to play with.
