In dealing with the toddler, the first thing parent should consider to do is to teach them about discipline. It may sound way too early to teach about discipline to a toddler, but with some adjustment and adaptation of the concept of discipline, it actually can be applied to toddler, surely in his or her capacity of learning. You can start to discipline them in bed timing and teach them about danger.
There usually some battles during the bed time as toddlers usually refuse to put into their crib. And parents can do some exciting activities to calm them down, such as story telling, reading kid’s book, and many more. And so, getting them familiar with the routine, such as clearly stating about when they should go bed after other activities, should be helpful. However, parents have to also paying more attentions on the quantities of their sleeping hours, because toddlers, who taking a nap usually have lesser sleeping hours to take at night.
In keeping them away of the dangerous things around the house, such as knifes, fire, ad other hot things, parent should be really warn them. Use the good intonation and stressing around the words so toddlers will take it seriously. Don’t forget to give them rewards for the good things they do in obeying your words.
