They are like a blank piece of paper, that every single word that written on them will absorbed perfectly. So there is no tolerance to give them wrong parenting, harsh attitude, or bad words, because they will record it hundred percent in their memory and imitate it in their attitude. It is every parent’s responsibility to nurse and educate them right and properly according to their age with love and care.
If children done any bad attitude, parents are not allowed to get mad. Parents must give explanation why children should not do that mistake. But if children keep on repeating that bad attitude, parents should give a stronger emphasis on their explanation and give punishment that can make them deterred from doing that bad attitude.
If children done any good attitude, don’t delay to give them rewards, and give them present once in a while. Rewards and presents can become their motivation and their pride to do more good and valuable attitudes.
Teach your children responsibility. For example after they eat food, they should throw the rubbish into the trash basket. Or when they finish play with their toys, teach them to clean and settle all the toys back into the toy box.
Teach your children to love reading the books. Books are like window of outer world. From reading many books they will get much knowledge that not obtainable from parents or other sources. Starting to read them book before go to bed, and set the schedule to read book every day. For example reading book should be done every day at afternoon. This routine habit can grow them love to read books.
Limit the time to watch television, because this thing can give them many invaluable knowledge and information. It is not recommended to watch television in long time in a day, because this will decrease the capability to concentrate and will make them become inpatient personality. Television consist of millions of motion pictures, this actually can disturb their concentration and make them inpatient. One to two hours a day to watch the television is sufficient.
Teach your children to say those golden words, such as “I am sorry” if they done anything wrong; “Thank you” if they are given any things or any help from someone; and “Please” if they need any help from anyone. These words will make them realize the important meaning to respect others.
