To have self responsibility is an important factor to build a good personality. A responsible person means that this person is dependable, trustworthy, manageable, consistence and commit for their live. To teach children about responsibility is important to do, because this nature will be brought until they grow old.

There are several ways to teach children responsibility. First is to ask them to clean the mess after they finish eating. Ask them to throw the rubbish into the garbage basket.

Second, if they have dropped something, ask them pick it up again. For example if they drop the spoon, book or clothes to the floor, ask them to pick it up and put it where they suppose to be located. But it should be noticed, that those things that dropped and should be picked up just in case when it is reachable by them. But if they drop a ball into the river, you won’t force them to pick it up, won’t you?

Third, ask them to clean the toys after they finish playing. Ask them to put the shoes back to the rack after they just come back from school. Ask them to clean the bed after they wake up in the morning. And ask them to clean their room according to their ability. The smaller the children the fewer order should be given.

Forth, pets are one from many means to teach the children responsibility. Ask your children what kind of pets they want to keep. Afterwards buy them the pets but they should promise take care the pets by them selves, such as to feed them, clean the cage and ask them to play with. The fact is, not only husband but also wife goes out from home to earn money and they leave their children at full day school or at home with baby sitter. Do their teacher and baby sitter will give the same love as their mother and father would give? The answer is absolutely not.

Mother is the center figure who must give lots of love and care to her children. It is like priority of her life. Mothers are able to work, but if they have small children, their prior responsibility is to take care her children and at home.

The caring and love that parents, especially mother can give to her children is starting from the awakening in the morning until at night they go to bed. This sounds so difficult. It has to be noticed that those fulltime mother will be harder in physical when the children are still small. Small children should be nurse more physically than mentally. But after the children grow older, they must be taken care more to their mental or psychology. Because in teenager moment is the important moment to give them lots of advice about life, build their mentality and personality.
