Everyone wants to keep their loved ones safe. There are a lot of ways that you can do this but you want to have a plan in place so that you are not unprepared. You don’t want to find yourself or your family in the news because you were not prepared. So you have to make sure that you find out as much as you can about family security and safety. This is very important these days. Here are some things you can do to help make sure that you have a plan for your family security and safety.
One: Get a home security system as the first step in your family security and safety. This will help to protect you if someone should ever try to break in. They have home security systems that will call the police, fire or ambulance if the alarm should ever go off. People everywhere are using these systems to help keep their families from danger.
Two: Check all your locks and replace any that need it. This is very important since these are one of the best ways to keep out anyone you don’t want in your house.
Three: A family security and safety issue that many people don’t think about is a plan for what to do if you have a fire, tornado or some other danger that you can plan for. This is especially important when you have kids because they need to know what to do for each situation. You need to come up with a plan and then discuss it with your family. Practice it so that everyone knows what to do.
The security of your family is not something that you want to play around with or put off until it is too late. You have to do all of the above if you want to help your family stay safe. It is very important for you to think of everything you can that could be a danger so that you can plan for it and prepare.
Don’t wait until it is too late. Make sure you have all your plans and actions in place in case of danger because your family security and safety needs to be your number one priority. You don’t want to be like other people who only think of the security of your family when they have to. By then it will be too late. So do the smart thing and take care of everything now so you will know that your family is protected.

Think about this a minute. When you are hired by a company they pay you. Is that not correct? In this situation you have to pay them. If they wanted your services would they not pay for the necessary work permits? Turn around and run before you lose.

Lastly, find out what Fox has on Bush and get it out in the open. Money can't explain the deference that Bush has given Fox.
Our Armed Forces are not a police force; they are a killing force that follow a totally different set of rules that does not belong on the border. Give the Border Patrol what they need and untie their hands. Can you say "carte blanche"? Reassess the situation in a year.
Maybe we're at war with the wrong country? Seems like the Mexican military is more of a threat to the U.S. than the insurgents in Iraq. President Bush, it's time to declare war on Mexico!
Interesting – I wonder if Bill's actions in the White House are what have driven Hillary to push for the Children’s Health Care program. If everyone accepted Bill's personal actions the way He and Hillary did we will need far better health care than we have. I commend Hillary and the others for pushing to get better health care. She has been trying to get hers passed for 15 years and can not get enough support from either party, individually or collectively. This is part of the experience she claims; a lot of experience but none that has produced any results. Like the prisoner who spent 20 years in prison; does that qualify him to be the warden? We can not afford another president lacking the personal moral and professional judgment and skills to represent our government to the rest of the world. We have an opportunity to show the world we are better than the impression Bush has presented. We need a person far more responsible, more interested in America than his/her self, someone who places value in the constitution, our laws, has strong family values, and does not let friendship cloud their judgment. Candidates who make excuses for criminals, who bend to the immediate situation, and whose strongest attribute is being a good song and dance candidate is not the person we need.
Once again, partial truth prevails. The legislation some of this stuff was attached to was treacherous and he had no choice.

Alright, let's start with your security system. It's not a bad idea, but even in the dead of night, line casts shadow if it's too thick. Use fishing line. It's thinner than paper practically, but very tough, and it might even trip the prick so he falls and makes more noise; just make sure everyone else in the house knows exactly where it is. The bell should be quiet, just enough to wake YOU up, no one else.
Your defense weapon… A 4-inch knife isn't really long enough to slash with, but it's more than long enough to stab, and stab deep. If you can press through the entire four inches of steel, that's a damn deep wound, and hard to endure, especially in the right place. Go for an arm or hand to disarm, or a leg to weaken their movement. Just don't aim to kill with the knife; there's a legal and real line between self-defense and excessive force.
Another item to defend yourself would be a good bludgeon; that is to say, a blunt object to smack someone with. The best option in my opinion is a bokken (wooden practice katana) or a shinai (bamboo practice sword); the bokken is solid and will come down with heavy weight, and the shinai is good for quick, lasting strikes that WILL hurt like a motherf***er. Since neither of these is often available in local stores or for cheap, the next best thing is a baseball bat. Wood is good because it's light and you can swing it easier, but a full metal bat will have a lot more force behind it, making it easier to bring down a would-be thief. Failing these, do you live anywhere near a forest, or have an old tree in your yard(s)? Find a good-sized, sturdy tree branch, preferably oak or yew, trim the bark off of it with your handy-dandy knife (why did I say that?), carve a nice handle into it and set it next to your bed. Instant bludgeon.
The last option for a weapon is your own body. Are you any good at grappling? Get in close and personal, grapple the robber, and try to pin him somehow. The classic police pin (arm restrained behind the back) is always a good choice, as it could very well disarm him in the process. If you can throw a good punch, clocking him in the temple can leave a lasting, potent pain, while a strong stomach shot may leave him breathless, allowing you to take him down. If you have handcuffs or know where to buy them (even those furry crappy ones), get him face-down on the ground and bind his hands behind his back. Clean him up a bit, call the police, and turn 'im in.

Some tips to stay safe:
When driving always keep your doors locked and your windows up. People might literally open your door and take your purse
Have your wife watch for suspicious people when taking money out of the ATM. Try to avoid ATMs at night.
Don't wear expensive jewelry or watches. Think about leaving your wedding bands at home and get "substitute" bands for traveling.
Keep large amounts of money and important documents in a waist or neck band if you absolutely need to take them with you out of the house. Only access these while in the bathroom so that people don't know you have them.
If you wear a backpack, get a kind that has double zippers so that you can lock the 2 zippers together to prevent pick-pockets.
Be extra careful at night, around bus/train/taxi stations, and in areas that you know are dangerous.

"A DAY IN THE LIFE OF JOE REPUBLICAN”
Joe gets up at 6 a.m. and fills his coffeepot with water to prepare his morning coffee. The water is clean and good because some liberal fought for minimum water-quality standards. With his first swallow of water, he takes his daily medication. His medications are safe to take because some liberal fought to ensure their safety and that they work as advertised. All but $10 of his medications are paid for by his employer's medical plan because some liberal union workers fought their employers for paid medical insurance – now Joe gets it too. He prepares his morning breakfast, bacon and eggs. Joe's bacon is safe to eat because some liberal fought for laws to regulate the meat packing industry. In the morning shower, Joe reaches for his shampoo. His bottle is properly labeled with each ingredient and its amount in the total contents because some liberal fought for his right to know what he was putting on his body and how much it contained. Joe dresses, walks outside and takes a deep breath. The air he breathes is clean because some liberal fought for the laws to stop industries from polluting our air. He walks on the government-provided sidewalk to the subway station for his government-subsidized ride to work. It saves him considerable money in parking and transportation fees because some liberal fought for affordable public transportation, which gives everyone the opportunity to be a contributor. Joe begins his workday. He has a good job with excellent pay, medical benefits, retirement, paid holidays and vacation because some liberal union members fought and died for these working standards. Joe's employer pays these standards because Joe's employer doesn't want his employees to call the union. If Joe is hurt on the job or becomes unemployed, he'll get a worker compensation or unemployment check because some liberal didn't think he should lose his home because of his temporary misfortune. It is noontime and Joe needs to make a bank deposit so he can pay some bills. The FSLIC federally insures Joe’s deposit because some liberal wanted to protect Joe's money from unscrupulous bankers who ruined the banking system before the Great Depression. Joe has to pay his Fannie Mae-underwritten mortgage and his below-market federal student loan because some liberal decided that Joe and the government would be better off if he was educated and earned more money over his lifetime. Joe also forgets that his in addition to his federally subsidized student loans, he attended a state funded university. Joe is home from work. He plans to visit his father this evening at his farm home in the country. He gets in his car for the drive. His car is among the safest in the world because some liberal fought for car safety standards to go along with the taxpayer funded roads. He arrives at his boyhood home. His was the third generation to live in the house financed by Farmers' Home Administration because bankers didn't want to make rural loans. The house didn't have electricity until some liberal stuck his nose where it didn't belong and demanded rural electrification. He is happy to see his father, who is now retired. His father lives on Social Security and a union pension because some liberal made sure he could take care of himself so Joe wouldn't have to. Joe gets back in his car for the ride home, and turns on a radio talk show. The radio host keeps saying that liberals are bad and conservatives are good. He doesn't mention that his beloved Republicans have fought against every protection and benefit Joe enjoys throughout his day. Joe agrees: "We don't need those big-government liberals ruining our lives! After all, I'm a self-made man who believes everyone should take care of themselves, just like I have."
