Dude your lost, Like somebody stated in the replies "best friends" After 19 years Marriage and 3years dating I still love my wife with no regrets.
Marriage is a LIFE LONG commitment and if you divorce because you probably can easy (Look in a cracker jack box) that means you have not tried to see life from your wife's eyes because were all wired different.
19 years = Multiple fights/arguments/spats or what ever you want to call them BUT they were done with rules. She is my wife and it's my job to protect her not defeat her. She is not the enemy.
Freedom lost you say? I have not lost it but have more of it because my wife can carry on the home while I'm gone. And yes she did a great job when I was in Iraq and will do it again while I'm in Afghanistan.
Is your motto 'It's to hard so I'm going to quit"
Lose it and Man up or don't you know how. Come on over to the Army we will teach you how to be a man..

Because, for a college, (a positive) 'image' translates into dollars for the university. Nothing tarnishes that image faster than violent crime on campus, especially when female students are involved.

I believe any administration that willfully covers up this kind of information should be dealt with severely. That's poor consolation though, to the victims and families and friends of the victims. It boggles the mind what some organizations will stoop to these days to get and/or keep their hands on the almighty dollar.

Interesting – I wonder if Bill's actions in the White House are what have driven Hillary to push for the Children’s Health Care program. If everyone accepted Bill's personal actions the way He and Hillary did we will need far better health care than we have. I commend Hillary and the others for pushing to get better health care. She has been trying to get hers passed for 15 years and can not get enough support from either party, individually or collectively. This is part of the experience she claims; a lot of experience but none that has produced any results. Like the prisoner who spent 20 years in prison; does that qualify him to be the warden? We can not afford another president lacking the personal moral and professional judgment and skills to represent our government to the rest of the world. We have an opportunity to show the world we are better than the impression Bush has presented. We need a person far more responsible, more interested in America than his/her self, someone who places value in the constitution, our laws, has strong family values, and does not let friendship cloud their judgment. Candidates who make excuses for criminals, who bend to the immediate situation, and whose strongest attribute is being a good song and dance candidate is not the person we need.

Interesting theory. If this is a possible scenario a secret is only a secret if one person knows. The moment you tell someone else it is no longer a secret. So, on the assumption that this or something like this happened, sooner or later being such a momentous enormous awful secret someone would have to tell someone else. This would surely be so burdensome to that other person that they would have to confide in another.

Do you see what I am getting at. Sooner or later it would or will be a secret that someone will not be able to keep, either through greed at the size of the fund or more likely their conscience.

It has been two months, surely whatever the truth whoever knows what happened must be bursting to tell someone, anyone by now.

I am a professional writer and author…as well as portrait artist…and yes–I COULD edit that–but you'd have to PAY me money to do that to read it and then to edit it.

    Do your homework.

I never waste my time reading a question longer than a few paragraphs.

Most of the media is liberal. Interestingly, when you go overseas, you will sometimes be surprised at the non-biased nature of the publicationsd. The Manila Times is a great newspaper, very informative.

Social workers are guided by a professional code of ethics on advocating a change towards equality, justice, human rights and the well-being of all individuals. This includes, but is not limited to the most helpless in society – the disadvantaged, the poor, thevulnerable and oppressed individuals. Social workers empower individuals with the tools necessary to achieve their goals and live their lives to the fullest. We must devote our lives to helping society to build a more dignified and equal society. All individuals have a fundamental right to live decent, dignified, and fulfilling lives but society is structured in such a way that not all individuals have equal access to necessities such as food, housing, education, safety and employment. As social workers, it is our responsibility to ensure that individual needs are met so people can be more self-sufficient and able to make the best possible choices for themselves. Just as individuals have basic biological needs that they have to satisfy in order to function, meaningful relationships are also vital to satisfy their emotional, physical, social and educational needs. Relationships lay the foundations of support in the lives of every individual in every nation in the world. The family is the primary source of support for individuals when dealing with problems in their lives. Some families have external and financial resources to help them with their problems, while many others do not. Often problems arise within a family or a relationship from a lack of communication. Relationships affect and influence everyone around us and they help us to learn from each other, enabling us to build a mutually beneficial relationship with those around us who are less fortunate than we are and aid them in seeking a more equal society. A strong relationship means strong support, and strong support means that individuals will be aided and looked after when in need. Strong support is good for the well-being of individuals everywhere, even to us as social workers. We need to strengthen relationships to help each other get along with families that provides for individuals' well-being.
Social workers advocate for change and equality for all individuals, including those who are vulnerable and oppressed. I believe that every human being is important and, therefore, should be respected for his or her unique qualities and characteristics. We can readily understand that others hope to be treated fairly and equally under the law and in their daily lives. It is logical that we would hope that others recognize that we want the same things for ourselves. As social workers, we have a number of ethical responsibilities toward our clients. First of all, we need to have the training and tools to support them in their personal growth and development. Secondly, we need to be able to describe viable choices for them, given their current skill level and help them to attain improved skill levels. Finally, we need to guide them towards the recognition that the greater the knowledge, the broader the spectrum of choices we have. Most of all, we also need to lead them to the understanding that freedom of choice ultimately translates to living life to the fullest. If we all work together for the common good of the vulnerable and oppressed individuals, then we can create a fairer and more equitable society. The fruits of our labors will then provide freedom, justice, and peace for all.
Another personal value that places the highest ethical standard upon the social work profession is integrity. This is the standard of deciding what is right and wrong and what each of us ought to do usually in terms of rights and obligations, benefits, common good, least harm and social justice for all individuals. All of these items are central to what social workers practice to accomplish for the rights of the disadvantaged, vulnerable and oppressed in society. Social workers must adhere to the ethical principles of integrity by maintaining a high code of behavior – honesty, trust, being respected and having a sense of justice and fairness. Being honest and having integrity can be a guide for everything that one does. What to do when no-one is watching, the difference between doing the right thing and wrong thing and keeping your word are all examples of integrity. These are attributes that social workers should practise as professionals and in their everyday lives. Having integrity is respected both in personal and professional relationships. One needs to display a certain amount of sincerity and morals when working with clients. A social worker, specifically, must uphold the highest level of morality and they need to maintain that level when other people try to challenge their views and test their wills. When social workers are challenged with ethical situations, they have to maintain a sense of integrity to their profession, ethics and principles. We need to understand that clients have different values and beliefs from our own and as social workers we have to be open to learning about

    Here's the part I like.

"Elected officials have a duty and responsibility to listen to you. This government still belongs to “the people.” As always, I will continue to do my part to represent your interests and make government work for you."

As long as we still govern our elected officials, and we continue to say no, then this is how the country should be run.

I also recall a petition in the works to actually have our Federal government do their jobs, and be productive for the U.S. and her citizens. I believe that a similar petition should be used for our state and local elected officials. That includes our state and local government agencies.

How do we help the individuals in our society achieve there goals and live their lives to the fullest? By advocating a change towards equality, which is the most basic of human rights. Social work can empower individuals with the tools necessary to achieve their goals and live their lives to the fullest. We must devote our lives to helping society build a more dignified and equal society.
Are we as social workers not bound by our oaths and our morals? Yes, we are. These morals that encompass our lives telling us to make a more equal society and the only way to do so is to devote our lives in service to those who need the help and support we give more than anything else in the world.
Relationships lay the foundations of support in the lives of every people in every nation of the world. The family is the primary source of support for individuals when dealing with the problems in their lives, but we as social workers can add an extra leg of support. Relationships affect and influence everyone around us. Relationships help us learn from each other, therefore we can build a mutually beneficial relationship with those around us who are less fortunate than we are and aid them in seeking a more equal society. Strong relationships means strong support, strong support means the individuals will be aided and looked after when in need. Strong support is good for the well being of individuals everywhere, even to us as social workers.

  14. John says:

His goals as you state them are not being met.

Actually, it would be better to restructure tax deductions giving individual health savings accounts and credits for every dollar of health care directly to the individual. THAT would drive down costs and drive up availability for all. Third party payers and government second guessing of treatment and paperwork drive up costs.

If there WERE to be subsidies, those should be funded by cutting expenditures overseas where our money leaves our economy altogether in any event, not by cutting medicare coverage for seniors. Subsidies could either be by a 'catestrophic illness/preexisting condition coverage' like an actual insurance policy for the country for those situations, or by credits being framed as is the Earned Income Credit – so you get it back as a subsidy on your return if you don't make enough money.

Why do Dems want to feed big insurance and big pharma and big government special interests?

i wouldnt vote for Hillary based on the fact she ran for senate in a state she doesnt represent, could she really be serving the public, and their interest? nope!!!!

There sure is a war going on at the border, no doubt about that!

The US Border Patrol lacks the resources and manpower to fight it.

1-2 trillion dollars will be spent on the war in Iraq and still, our borders are unsecure and Bin Laden is making video for Al Jazeera.

Our country is not in the business of nation rebuilding. Do the job and leave.

Fences worked for Germany, China and Israel, why not us?

Because illegals bring cheap labor and buy homes in US giving the banking system millions in interest.

How do we fight a war on terror when our borders are wide open, and that includes Mexican drug runners and Al Qaida?

It's time to heavily arm the Border Patrol, triple their numbers, change their standing orders from "run and hide" to "stand your ground and shoot to kill", and uncover every person along the way, to, and including Washington, that has thrown up hurdles against border defence and replace them. Lastly, find out what Fox has on Bush and get it out in the open. Money can't explain the deference that Bush has given Fox.

Our Armed Forces are not a police force; they are a killing force that follow a totally different set of rules that does not belong on the border. Give the Border Patrol what they need and untie their hands. Can you say "carte blanche"? Reassess the situation in a year.

Maybe we're at war with the wrong country? Seems like the Mexican military is more of a threat to the U.S. than the insurgents in Iraq. President Bush, it's time to declare war on Mexico!
